John E. Ambery

Dr. John Ambery is a leadership expert offering workshops, keynote talks, and consultations for the U.S. Intelligence Community, fire service departments, and private sector organizations. He has served as a consultant, psychologist, manager, executive coach, and leadership instructor for the U.S. military, Department of State, the Intelligence Community, and private industry.  Earlier in his career, he was a staff psychologist for the New York City Police Department conducting assessments and trauma debriefings. Dr. Ambery has lived in Europe and Asia, and currently resides in North Carolina. He serves his rural community as a Captain in the local volunteer fire department and is a member of the Fire Service Psychology Association.
